The head coach of Boys Under 17, Boys Under 14 and Boys Under 11 teams at IFC, Darius was born and raised in Iran. His passion for the game of soccer began when he and his friends organized a neighborhood team in Tehran and played against other teams. Growing up, his favorite players were Pele and Cruyff, two of the biggest soccer icons that revolutionized soccer skills. He moved to the US at age 16 and played soccer at North Hills High School and at Washington and Jefferson College.

Darius’ coaching career began when his two sons started playing soccer in Pasadena. He has been coaching and teaching skills to youngsters from ages 4 to 16. Darius always enjoyed watching kids improve their skills and become better players year after year and that has been the most gratifying part of coaching for him.

Jesus Becerra

Jesus will be coaching GU15 and GU14 teams for International Futbol Club. He was born and raised in Los Angeles to Mexican immigrants. Jesus has played organized sports most of his life. As part of his education, he has earned both an A.A. and B.A. degree from ELACC and CSULA respectively. Jesus resides in Alhambra with his three daughters.

Jesus got into coaching as a way to get his kids to play soccer. He began his soccer coaching career in 2001 when he took both a U6 and U8 team for what was then a new AYSO Region in El Sereno. He coached two teams at a time for all three years that his girls played in this Region. Since then he has been at Region 60 in Alhambra where he has been both a YDP and Section All-Star coach. Jesus has always been grateful to all of the parents who have entrusted him with their child’s soccer education.
